Holiday to Vietnam. 130314

Went to Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh, for holiday but wasn't an enjoyable one due to some personal problems.

Their food and environment is not suitable for me.

I have hard time adapting to it.

Lots of motors and taxis. And their traffic is kind of dangerous.

But one good things is when you cross the road the motors will dodge you.

Our flight is in the evening so when reached Vietnam is around 8 plus Singapore time.

Their time there is 1 hour slower than Singapore.

And also heard that there have lots of pick pockets.

They can just suddenly snatch your valuables away.

This is how our hotel room look like

Anyway had our first dinner/first meal. Of all the food, I like their fried rice with roasted chicken. There are a lot of ingredients in the chicken also. Their food is also serve with a plate full of vegetables. People in vietnam eat more vegetables than any other thing else. After dinner we went to walk around for awhile as their shops don't open till very late.

Seconday day, we had breakfast in the hotel. Their breakfast nothing special like normal other hotels will have.

After that went to a shopping mall but I forgot what it's called.

In this shopping there's a big arcade. Their arcade is really like a children's dream world, super big and lots of things to play.

Went to a restaurant that is Chinese cuisine as we saw promotion but the promotion is for Tuesday only. But fortunately, the boss of the restaurant is a Singaporean and he say he will give the promotion.

He even gave us free dessert. :) The food damn awesome and nice!

Walked around and saw Starbucks so we decided to sit and have a drink. Their Starbucks caffeine is much more stronger than Singapore.

Went to shop their market called Ben Thanh. Their market is damn big and they have lots of shops in there as some of their shops are kind of small.

Few hours later, we saw a cafe and decided to have a drink since all of us are kind of exhausted.

This cafe is called Mojo, it's a expensive cafe!

Went into Louis Vuitton shop also. Some of their branded shops are in US dollar. Their shopping mall shops are also expensive.

Before dinner we had KFC, the chicken damn crispy and soft!

These are what we have for dinner, this restaurant dinner don't really suit us. Only the noodles and carrot cakes suits us. The way they cook carrot cake is different from Singapore.

Went to their famous Up Cafe. This cafe have a rule, everyone must order a drink if not will get fine.

But it's okay as their drinks are nice. And this cafe design is upside down.

Walked pass this shop. Found it cool so decided to take photo of it.

Third day.

Their Hard Rock Cafe is in US dollar. Kind of expensive.

This restaurant is kind of cool, inside there have king's and queen's clothes.

Their bowling look damn high class and big!

Our lunch.

Went to salon to wash our hair, clean nails, do mask and dig ears.

Only took photo of uncle and cousin. The rest are not wiling to take photo.

Our dinner. Planned to have seafood buffet for dinner but because by the time all of us are done it's already very late and the restaurant is closing soon. So decided to go supermarket called Metro to shops and buy things then after that go have our late dinner. But sadly, by the time we reached there, Metro already closed. But lucky beside Metro there's a korean fast food restaurant called Lotteria.

After that went to a famous beef soup noodle restaurant.

I had special chicken soup noodle.

Fourth day. Our brunch, one of their soup is bitter gourd soup. The other soup I don't know what it's called, this soup taste is sweet and sour.

Went to Metro after brunch. Their supermarket is super big like ikea. I think it's bigger than ikea.

Their supermarket do not allow people to bring bag or food in. They have a locker for you to keep your bags. And there's a guard at the locker so you don have to be afraid that someone will take your staffs.
